🌞 Summer Recap of H2Y Activities! 🌞
This summer, H2Y had the pleasure of connecting with another youth-led non-profit, Vancouver Care Packages (VCP) 📦, for an incredible collaboration focused on supporting elementary schools! 🎒📚
We hosted a refreshment stand featuring delicious lemonade 🍋 and shaved ice 🍧 to help beat the summer heat at English Bay, Vancouver and Ambleside Beach, West Vancouver. Our lemonade came in three refreshing flavors: mango 🥭, strawberry 🍓, and watermelon 🍉!
✨ In total, we raised over $500 by selling around 200 units of refreshments. These funds will go towards purchasing emergency earthquake/fire kits for Queen Alexandra Elementary School in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦. The packages will be assembled and delivered to the school by the end of September — stay tuned for updates on this exciting event! 📦🎉
A huge thank you to the VCP team and all the volunteers (parents and students) who came out to support this amazing cause! 🙌 We’re thrilled to have collaborated with such a passionate group of young individuals who share our mission of helping those in need. ❤️
