🎉 We are super excited to share another school connection and donation! 🎉
With the funds from the opening of H2Y Shop, we got in touch with Sir Sandford Fleming Elementary School and met Principal Teena Margo Smith in person for a quick school tour. 🏫 From this, our in-person donation representative, Queeny Gong, had the opportunity to learn more about the school’s rich history.
Sir Sandford Fleming is one of the few schools in Vancouver's Eastside that received a full school rebuild three years ago. 🛠️ Because of this, the school now has a modern look and many new facilities for its students. One feature that really stuck with the H2Y team is the collaborative and open classrooms, designed to offer a flexible learning space. 📚 The school also houses a daycare on the top floor, providing an amazing environment for students to learn, move, and grow! 🌟
We are thrilled to support the Literacy Program at Sir Sandford Fleming—it’s fantastic for the students' reading and writing development. ✨
