🎉 We’re excited to announce that H2Y has made another meaningful donation—this time to Britannia Elementary School in Vancouver! 🎉
Our in-person donation representative, Queeny Gong, had the privilege of meeting with Principal Webber and Community Coordinator Stephanie to discuss the school’s community and how our contribution will make a difference.
Britannia Elementary serves an underserved community, where many families live in social housing and are of Indigenous descent. 🏠 We were moved to learn about the challenges many students face, including the impact of generational trauma linked to their families' experiences with residential schools. Britannia provides crucial support for its students, offering meals, holiday gifts, and opportunities like field trips to enrich their learning and well-being. 🌿
We’re grateful to play a part in helping fund these field trips and activities, giving students a chance to explore the beauty of Vancouver and enjoy new experiences with their classmates and teachers. 🚌✨
